In addition to the data line cut, I’ve added 12 more traditional point to point bends. These do a wide variety of modulations, variations, and crazy sonic garbling.
Yamaha was nice enough to number all the chips. Here are my notes on the point to point bends:
Thats from the inside of the keyboard. The same colored points are connected together.
The data lines to cut are IC2, pins 10,11, 13-18.
With all 20 switches to play with you can have a lot of fun.

this is all some pretty crazy stuff. i looked you up on the the internet because i was thinking of our common friend mr. dave rubenstein. don’t know if you have any leads, just wondered where he ever found himself. pretty cool lookin tour, man am i jealous. are those cardboard boxes you’re putting hours of fuss into? i am a fairly well tooled carpenter these days in worcester ma - we just bought a house. see you’re married- that’s nice, i like it too. oh yeah the closest thing to a point was that i can make you all the enclosures you want, just need an idea of dimensions and material- i suggest something other than cardboard. and if you don’t want to get that involved may i suggest cigar boxes. good for banjoes too.
