Hello from Hamburg!
The european Mobius Band invasion takes a break for the day in the home (or at least namesake) of that most American of appropriations, the hamburger. Haven’t eaten one yet on tour, but the doner kebab in Germany is proving tough to beat.
The shows on the continent have been great so far, Antwerp, Amsterdam (6000 people!) and last night especially.
Two nights ago in Aarhus, Denmark was also a highlight, despite the hellacious hours of German traffic we endured to get there. The city (town?) was beautiful and, at least to this provincial American band, playing our first show in Denmark felt like a truly foreign and How Did I Get Here? experience.
At the moment we sit in a cafe surrounded by German straight edge punks (I haven’t seen an X on someones hand since I was 16?…) who are silently watching the most recent Rocky movie on a laptop, some nameless European electro on the stereo and the wireless fidelity in abundance. Who can complain. Hope life is as sweet wherever you are.

I saw you guys performing in Amsterdam while I was working there. I couldn’t care for the Editors, but I bought your album and it hasn’t left my player ever since!!!
